Do you have a favorite place to write?
Lately I’ve been writing songs in random places… Usually I do the bulk of the writing in my bedroom (which is also my studio), but I often start songs while I’m on tour, parked somewhere, or while I’m sitting writing lyrics at random coffee shops, which I do a lot. I have a few songs I’ve written and never shared, but I have stacks of books of lyrics that I’ve written and never put to music, mostly because a lot of them are bad :) But almost always, my songs start with the words.

how do I buy the album Static? It's not on itunes..
You can get it on CDbaby here (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/chrisayer1). It was the very first thing I put out, so I don’t feature it on iTunes, but appreciate when someone has heard other newer songs, and wants to hear the earliest record. Hope you like!

Back from the UK/Europe December tour.
I had some fun shows, some tiring times, met some great new friends, dealt with some not-so-greatfriends… Kind of everything. I’m exhausted, with a 102 fever, and I honestly can’t wait to go back.
